The Catholic Church

Looking at Catholic doctrine…

The Virgin Mary

Did Mary remain a virgin after the birth of Jesus Christ?

The Catholic church teaches that Jesus was the only son of Mary. They base it on the Scripture:

They have created a whole doctrine around a verse in which they ignore the word “until.” Why would they do that? And the answer is that Satan has a very definite and diabolical purpose for this false teaching. Satan’s purpose from the beginning has been to detract all attention from Jesus Christ, and redirect it to anyone other than him. Satan’s goal in creating this heretical doctrine, is that Catholicism directs the attention of its followers to “the Blessed Virgin,” thus fulfilling one of the greatest of Satan’s goals, Mary becomes the one adored. Satan

There is absolutely no reason for Mary to have remained a virgin. After the birth of Jesus there remained no reason for her to continue to be a virgin afterwards. Having fulfilled the prophecy, the deed was done. And when the “until” was over, Joseph then was free to “know” his wife. Had that not been the case, Mary would have been in sin, refusing her husband his marital rights.

Mary remained a virgin UNTIL Jesus was born. His paternity had to be unquestionably the Spirit of God because the Redeemer had be sinless and only God is sinless.

In fact, in more than one passage the Bible makes clear that Mary had several more children after the birth of Jesus.

Scripture makes it very clear that Jesus had brothers and sisters. The Catholic church denies this, so that they can further adoration to his mother whom they call, “the blessed virgin.”

She was a virgin when Jesus was conceived, and remained a virgin UNTIL Jesus was born. Then there was no longer reason for her to remain a virgin.

Procreation is the purpose of marriage. Had God seen fit to keep Mary a virgin, there would have been no need for a marriage. But Joseph was told by God to take his wife and not to “know” her UNTIL the child was born. And after Jesus was born, being the firstborn, Mary and Joseph went on and had at least four more sons and several daughters as well.

WHY would Satan inspire the heresy of “the blessed Virgin Mary?” And of course it’s obvious. In every religion Satan does all he can to divert worship away from his arch enemy, Jesus Christ. He has greatly succeeded in raising Mary up to the status of one worshiped, even called her the “co-redeemer,” people bowing to statues of her, and building shrines to her. This is out-and-out idolatry.

I don’t know if Mary knows, in heaven, how the millions bow before her statues to worship her. If she does, it must hurt her heart deeply.
